These Terms apply to the Abyss app and our website.
  1. Use of the App
  • Abyss lets you share moments and activity with people you trust, and view what’s happening in your circle.
  • You must be 16 or older to use Abyss.
  • You agree not to misuse the service (e.g., harassment, illegal content, or attempts to disrupt the app).

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You may close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users.

3. Data from Third Parties

  • If you connect Apple HealthKit, Terra, or Strava, you allow Abyss to import the activity data you choose to share. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
  • You can disconnect providers at any time in Settings.

4. Subscriptions and Fees

  • Abyss offers subscription options. Prices and terms are shown in-app before purchase.
  • All payments are processed through the App Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID / App Store settings.
  • Prices may vary by region and are shown before purchase.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. User Content

  • You own the content you post.
  • You give Abyss a limited license to host and display your content so the service can function.
  • You’re responsible for what you share and must have rights to it.

6. Privacy

  • Your use of Abyss is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Abyss is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice.
  • Use the app at your own risk. Always follow your own judgment and, when appropriate, professional guidance.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abyss isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll provide notice in the app or on the website.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New York.
